This exhibition is a celebration of Emiratis who have laid the foundation of the cultural and creative landscape in the region and defined the voice of the Arabic creative, as well as those who continue to build onto the fertile ground of their predecessors.
The second edition, themed ‘Narratives of Belonging’, explores what it means to belong — whether to a place, an object, a practice, or something beyond the physical, like a memory. By exploring the fluid nature of belonging, the exhibition considers how our connections shape who we are, reflecting on the past while imagining new possibilities for the future.
