Najat Makki in collaboration with FBMI and the weavers of Zuleya, presents a unique set of two hand-knotted wool rugs, Rhythm of the Land and Whisper of Elements, inspired by two of the artist’s paintings.
Rhythm of the Land symbolizes resilience and identity. Its bold palette of black, white, and green resonates with the Palestinian struggle, while the rhythmic arrangement of triangular shapes evokes a sense of stability and strength.
Whisper of Elements reflects the UAE's dedication to environmental conservation through art. This design blends luminous colors—blue, fuchsia, and green—crafted from silk and wool to create a textured surface that dances with light and shadow, embodying the harmony of nature and artistic expression.
