Doors have always held a great meaning. As we are known for our hospitality in the Middle East, it comes as no surprise to see how beautifully welcoming our doors are.
The Sursock Museum was born out of Lebanese collector Nicolas Sursock's commitment to the endorsement and promotion of art. Sursock left his mansion built in 1912 to the citizens of Lebanon as an art museum upon his death in 1952. Its architecture integrates Venetian and Arabesque elements which were typical in Lebanon at the turn of the century. The outstanding warm and bright colors of the stained-glass in the Facade, add to the beauty of the building's white architecture refurbished after the Lebanese war.
